I recently worked as the Production Designer on Jake Hoyson’s graduate thesis, The Cobbler and the Diamond. It’s a bit of a slap stick modern-day film noir, and largely centers thematically around iconic foods. I enjoyed trying my hand at food props, most notably a giant mound of ham salad and what was imagined to be the perfect peach cobbler.
